Product DescriptionWire Flame Spray-:
Wire Flame Spray uses a single wire that is fed into a jet flame. The temperature is close to 10,000 K, melting the wire. The air stream from the jet atomizes the molten particles, propelling them onto the substrate. The technological parameters, such as feed stock, flame spray gas composition and flow rate, and energy input, play a large role in the relationship between the particles and the substrate.MODELWIREDIAMETERWIRE FEEDINGGASES USED12PZinc, Stainless Steel, Aluminium,Copper, Brass, Bronze etc.3.17 mmPneumaticOXYGEN,PROPANE/ACETYLENE12P-EDZinc, Aluminium,

Flame spraying is widely used where a cost effective thermal spray coating is desired and a lower quality can be tolerated. The majority of components are sprayed manually.Corrosion protection; structures and componentsReclamation worn shafts, particularly of bearing areas with materials such as stainless steel or bronze alloysThe surface coatings produced are porous and lubricants can be absorbed into the coating, enhancing performance of the bearing.Aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, bronze, low carbon steel, nickel-based materials, molybdenum.
Process detailsFlame spraying uses the heat from the combustion of a fuel gas, usually acetylene or propane with oxygen, to melt the spray coating material. In this process a consumable, usually a powder or wire, is heated and propelled onto a substrate to form a surface coating
AdvantageTechnical Advantages:1. Less oxides
2. Coatings can be easier to machine due to reduced oxide Economic Advantages:1. Higher deposit efficiency with low melting point materials such as aluminum and zinc
2. Lower initial equipment cost
Operational Advantages:1.Non-conductive wires can be sprayed
2. Less fine dust created when spraying makes overspray less flammable or explosive
3. More portable for on-site spraying
4. Simple to ignite5. Easy to operate
6. High spray rate with low gas consumption
7. Low maintenance design reduces operating costs
8. Can be used with both hard and soft wires
9. Extension modules for internal bore applications
